In New York and other similar cities in the USA (where there are dense buildings, little greenery. The houses are usually tall (5 floors and above), you need to do the following:
Try to place small pots of flowers near the windows of the second, third, and fourth floors so that an ordinary passerby can enjoy their view. Those residents of houses who equip their windows in this way should have their housing and communal services fees reduced (as if a payment from the city fund goes for improving the appearance of the city).
If there are two tall buildings close to each other, and their windows face each other, then do exactly the same, but up to higher floors (up to the 20th, 30th). So that the view from the window pleases.
The only downside may be a slight reduction in the amount of light coming through the window. But this is not a strong minus. You should try to place flowers as close to the walls as possible and make the pots narrow but long. Then they reduce the flow of light less.
